Trouble downloading personal license and program

  1. When I click on the link to download the personal license, it downloads into a zip file. When I try to unzip the file, I get a page with an alien language on it - absolutely worthless. How can I fix this and get this program downloaded?

  2. THe ZIP file is for installation of the plugin via your WP admin, see:

  3. Thank You Rob - I have looked at my WP website and do not find any screen for WP Admin. Where can I find that so I can do this installation. Also - is everything in gravity forms in some kind of code - I think it might be HTML - which I do not use. Thanks

  4. Every WP site has an admin - domain.com/wp-admin/

This is where you would put in your username and password to access the site's admin to install plugins, add content, change the site settings, etc.

  5. Looks like you're a little out of your league here maybe. The plugin is built in PHP/HTML to work with the WordPress publishing platform. I'm not sure what you were expecting when you looked at the files, but the programming language under the hood is what makes the plugin work.

If you're not familiar with adding plugins to your WordPress installation or "do not use" HTML then you should probably consider hiring a qualified developer to help you out.

  6. yes - I am familiar with wp-admin/. I have been installing all kinds of plugins so I know how to do that too. I am not well versed in HTML which is why I don't like it or use it. My project is quite small, a site for a nonprofit one time event with a need for three-five forms: three forms for reservations and two for payments. Hiring a developer is out of the question unless they want to donate their time and expertise. Perhaps Gravity Forms is not what I need. I have 1 shopping cart set up and Authorize.net all set up. Thanks for your help - Karen
