Two Multi Page questions: drop down variables & page 1 redirects

Hi. We would like to move over from Cforms, but need to replicate a couple of the things we can do with cforms to be able to make the move, any feedback appreciated!

We have a multi page form about red and blue widgets. The first page of our form has one drop down field titled "Widgets" with the options to choose being Blue or Red. If blue is chosen, we want to show a page 2 and page 3 that have blue related questions and if Red is chosen, we want to show a page 2 and page 3 that has red related questions when submit on the first page is chosen. How can we do this? Carl mentions conditional logic and page breaks in this thread, but we're not sure how this works: http://forum.gravityhelp.com/topic/multi-page-and-variable-page-routing

Real world example using Cforms: http://tinyurl.com/2g95l3r .....

If "Home Purchase" is chosen from the first field (Type of Loan), then the rest of the pages of the form will be "Home Purchase" related, otherwise, all other choices from "Type of Loan" (Refinance, Debt Consol and Home Equity), will go to standard (not purchase related) pages 2,3 and 4.

    2. We place multi page forms on home pages of sites but do not want the form to continue to page 2 on the same page (there is not enough space on the page), so we need to redirect the first page of the form to a new page on the site with more space to continue page 2 of the form...... Is this possible with GF?

Here's a real world example using cforms (the "Get a Fast Rate Quote" form): http://tinyurl.com/259jp8f

Any feedback is greatly appreciated, would love to be able to start using GF and moving clients over to it!

Come on gravity forms, I know that if cforms does it, gforms can do it better, right? :) Sorry, blatant appeal to vanity was the best I could do. :)

  3. You can do conditional logic on a Page Break. So if FIELD1 = X then show Page 2, if FIELD2 = Y then show Page 3.

So you'd setup your conditional logic on the Page Breaks you want to show and hide based on a previous field selection. So you'd add all of your pages and fields then show/hide the pages you want to show/hide based on field selections using conditional logic.

So yes this is possible with the Gravity Forms v1.5 beta.

Sorry for the delay in responding, we were short staffed over the weekend and are trying to catch up on forum requests that have not been responded to.

  4. I like that you can do this, just answered my recent question, but I'm not sure how to do this or what you mean. I will download the latest version but is there a tutorial or FAQ on this somewhere?

    Thanks Carl!
