Do you have a link to your site? Aso, you might want to contact the creator of the theme and ask if they are enqueuing JavaScript in pages that aren't their theme options pages as that is usually what causes this issue, irrespective of what plugin you have installed.

Can you try the following please?

Can you activate the Twenty-Eleven theme and Gravity Forms and see if it works? Can you try our troubleshooting steps? I am trying to find the source of your issue, so I wanted to check to see if your theme was using the wrong version of JQuery (it isn't).

  5. Hi I just tried to activate it with a different theme - it worked but then i tried to add a contact form, and this came up

"Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 1966080 bytes) in /home/tacamsc/public_html/wp-content/plugins/gravityforms/form_detail.php on line 2237"

  6. Hi David,

So as pointed out in the above post, I did activate a different theme and it wasn't giving us the same error. Would I need to go back to the people who created the theme and ask them what's up? Or is it something you can help with?

    Thanks heaps for your help!

  7. You should you contact your theme provider as the problem lies with the theme.

However, the fatal error is due to PHP running out of memory. You should check with your host about getting 64MB or 128MB of RAM.

  8. Hi,

I have the developer of Ultimatum Theme swearing black and blue that the theme works perfectly for them with Gravity Forms enabled. We have tried absolutely everything we can possibly think of.

They also suggested that it may have to do something with my host.

I really need some help with this frustrating situating as i feel i have wasted $199.

Have you contacted your host about raising the memory?
Here is a tutorial for them, and some documentation/reasoning for you:
    http://www.nerdgrind.com/increase-wordpress-and-php-memory-limit/

Basically, what ends up happening is on shared hosts, you quickly run out of memory, and errors, that other people don't usually get, start occurring. Most people, once they raise their PHP and WordPress available memory above 128MB start to see both better performance, and less errors and issues like the one you experienced.

  10. Hi,

This error only occurs when Gravity Forms is actually working. I cannot get it to work without having a programmer debug it.

How would i go about getting a refund on my purchase as i am very displeased so far.

  11. No programmer is required for debugging. The memory error occurs because Gravity Forms is a large plugin and adding that much code to an existing installation with a custom theme will require more memory.

You have only 32MB of RAM right now for PHP, which is very low. Most hosts will increase the RAM for you without much trouble if you ask. Have you already asked to raise the PHP RAM to 128MB as suggested? It is the solution to the "out of memory" error.

  12. Hi,

As stated earlier, this "fatal error" issue occurs ONLY when switching to a default wordpress theme. I am NOT using a default theme.

The people who created the them I am using and its community all say they have NO issues with Gravity Form and Ultimatum form together. I HAVE AN ISSUE. It crashes the backend of my wp-admin login whenever i install it. I have tested on a different server and getting the exact same result.

  13. The fatal error is due to lack of RAM. Have you asked your host about increasing your PHP RAM?

How much RAM did the other server have? Can you please post the exact error for the other server so we can see what the problem was there?

Thank you. We'll be happy to help you resolve this issue.

  14. Rereading your posts, it sounds like you have two distinct problems?

    1. You cannot use the wp-admin backend with the Ultimatum theme active?

    2. When using the default twenty ten theme, you run into out of memory errors?

    Is that accurate?

The solution to your problem will be to increase your available memory for WordPress and PHP. Can you make sure WordPress has at least 128MB (preferably 256MB of memory available)?

  17. Hi,

I am on a VPS server, which means that my host cannot help in increasing my memory. I have tried, but i am not a techie person and i just cannot do it myself.

  18. Similar problem that I can't install Gravity form with Ultimatum theme installed. One thing I noticed is that Ultimatum uses Forms in the admin panel. Would it have any conflict with the same name used in Gravity forms?

I don't know that this should create a conflict in and of itself, but it might be worth talking to the Ultimatum theme developer about.
