Unable to edit notification area

  1. In the notification area I am unable to edit the message. The visual/text area shows but it will not allow me to edit anything. I have never had this issue before. I have even exported the form. Uninstalled and re-installed.

what is happening? It happens on both the notification and admin

Can I have you please try the following troubleshooting steps? http://www.gravityhelp.com/documentation/page/Testing_for_a_Theme/Plugin_Conflict

  3. I had the same issue with the visual editor not appearing in the notifications area. I'm moving all my current forms over from the CForms II plug-in, and in the process I have both plugins activated. If CForms II is deactivated the visual editor in Gravity Forms works fine.

    The Temporary Fix
As I'm converting forms, I just disabled the Visual Editor under Users > Your Profile

You may also want to check if you have TinyMCE Advanced or any other plugin that changes the behavior of the visual editor.

  4. I'm having the exact same conflict between cForms II and Gravity Forms, which affects the visual editor. I have the 'no conflict mode' set to On, but it doesn't help.

Since I'm a web designer who often converts cForms into Gravity Forms, it would be fantastic if this conflict could be worked around by the GF plugin. (A current client has a shipload of cForms to convert over, so this is a rather large inconvenience for me.)

  5. Hi TurboWebs,

I know it's not pretty, but did you try turning off your Visual Editor?

  6. Yes. But as you say, it's a bit ugly and not at all ideal. It's still tying my hands a bit while I convert all these forms over.
