Unable to Insert Form on a Page

  1. I have a new installation of Gravity Forms and, after fixing a plugin conflict, I have been able to create and edit forms. Now, however, I cannot insert the form into a page. Can't do so via the Page Editor icon or by inserting html code (shortcode). In either case, the form does not appear on the page.

I don't know if it matters but I created the forms with the setting of "Output CSS" [Set this to No if you would like to disable the plugin from outputting the form CSS. ] to be "no". Thought that may have been it so now I switched it back to "yes" but only after the forms were created and attempts made to insert. Could this be part of the problem?

I am using a customized theme that a developer built. (www.ruthsherman.com is the site)

    Any assistance is much appreciated!

    Thanks!

  2. A couple things. On the issue of not being able to insert a form into a post or page using the "Insert Form" icon, this is a cache issue. Clear your browser cache completely, exit your browser and restart it. Then go to your WordPress admin and try to insert the post. Your browser has an old version of this page cached and it isn't getting javascript needed for this functionality because of the cache.

As for the Output CSS turned off... this is probably something you don't want to do and doesn't have anything to do with the insert form not working. You only want to turn off CSS output if you have copied the necessary form styles from the plugin to your themes stylesheet. So you most likely want this set to On.
