upload files after approval possible?

  1. I have a site where we're asking people to submit their information to speak at an event. If they are approved, i would like to have them be able to edit their information and upload a photo and a file on their presentation.
Currently, the photo upload and file upload fields are set on the form, to show up using conditional logic only when the approved field is approved.
Is it possible for the approved speaker to get a username and password so they can upload their files when they are approved? I'm trying to do this with the gravity forms directory plugin but both fields are not displaying. (and i understand that plugin is 3rd party)
I have also tried uploading the photo in the admin area, but the photo does not display. There is a broken image that displays instead.

Last question - is there a better way to accomplish this?

    Thanks for your help.

  2. Here are the steps to show what I'm trying to accomplish:
    1. Potential speaker fills in their info on a form which is sent to various people to review.
    2. Speakers are approved in the admin area
    3. Speakers are given a password so they can login with email address and password on a page in the front of site, not admin area
    4. Once logged in, speakers can upload a photo of themselves and their presentation materials

Item 1 and 2 are working without a problem. Is this something I can accomplish with Gravity Forms, or is there a better way to do this?

    Thanks for your help.

  3. Sounds like maybe you could do this with two forms? First form is your applicant piece, second form is behind that password protected page you mentioned - I'm thinking there they fill out that form and it uses post fields to post their info and materials.
