User created custom products with updated product image

  1. I am just research for now. Wondering if Gravity Forms would be able to accomplish this task. Working on a website that would allow the customer/user to pick features of a product to order a custom product and their choices will update an image to resemble the final product. Similar to car websites where you can pick a car model, color, wheels, etc. and it updates the image of the car to reflect these changes. Could this be accomplished with GF? Thanks!

From everything I've seen, this would not work out of the box. You'd have to hack it pretty heavily to do anything remotely similar to this. So to answer your question, no.

I would agree with Chino that it would require a lot of custom development to make work, as Gravity Forms has no way of layering images. But through conditional logic and some advanced CSS and transparent PNG's, it could be done.
