I created a form on the side bar, it is a simple form for a user to submit a photo but I don't require them to be registered to post, it is not even an option. Is there a way when the form publishes to a post that they can have an alias. Example: If I had a name box and they put in Bugs Bunny that it would post with it being submitted by Bugs Bunny rather than a generic default.

  2. WordPress requires a post to be created and associated with a WordPress user account. So no, an alias would not be possible. You have the option of setting Gravity Forms to create the post using a default author and can also set it so that if the user filling out the form is logged in it will use their user account as the author.

Thanks Carl, that is the option I have it set to now. I was using TDO Forms before, but there wasn't enough options for me. Now their form was submitting the alias as the author in the post and now that I deactivated that plug in all the posts have the same name. I was just trying to see if Gravity Forms had that same feature.
