User not being registered after payment approval

  1. Hey hey gforms team!

So I've been setting up a site using your paypal and user registration add-ons and I'm kind of stuck. I've got a user registration form that requires a payment in order to register.

The form redirects to PayPal and seems to do everything correctly up to the point where the IPN kicks back through - when I view the entries, they all come back as Payment Status: Processing with the appropriate date, transaction ID, etc... - but I haven't been able to get it to successfully register the user after this.

I've tried taking the PayPal feature off the form and filling it out that way, and it seems to register the user perfectly.

Any clues or recommendations as to where I can start looking?

    Thanks

  3. Hi @downsdesign,
I discovered what was the problem, the clients (2x) did NOT complete the transactions.
I just processed a new one and it went smoothly.
May be you have the same issue?
    Best regards

  4. I'm going to go ahead and close this support forum post as @downsdesign has a Priority Support request being worked on for the same issue so it's a duplicate. The issue is going to be related to IPN not communicating back to his site. This can happen for a variety of reasons, typically it happens when the web server does not have CA Certificates installed for CURL which prevents authentication of the IPN request.
