Hi, this plugin seems to be exactly what I need in extending a user registration form, but can you confirm that with the User Registration AddOn I can add custom fields to a user reg form which details are then saved to the database on registration ?

  2. Yes, you can capture whatever information you like with a Gravity Form. It will be stored with the usermeta. It's up to you to determine how to display it though. Here is an article from Justin Tadlock about extending the user profile. http://justintadlock.com/archives/2009/09/10/adding-and-using-custom-user-profile-fields

  3. Can the user registration add-on be used with the new version of bbpress

  4. The new version of bbPress is a WordPress plugin, so you just register a WordPress user. No more dealing with a separate bbPress registration process and trying to make integrated logins work. With the WordPress plugin (version 2+) of bbPress, WordPress registration is all you need, and Gravity Forms User Registration Add-on can be used to replace that.

    So: yes.

  5. I added a custom field with Tadlock's method, and mapped it to a Gravity Form field in the User Registration module. However the field is not populating. Any idea what might be going wrong?

  6. It's difficult to guess from here. However, if you are a Gravity Forms customer, please post a regular support topic and we'll address your issue there, rather than in the pre-purchase forums. Thank you.
