User registration - multiselect checkboxes

    Hi there,

    I have a BuddyPress site and users have various custom profile fields. I'm using Gravity User Registration Add-on and there's a problem with populating multi-select checkboxes field.

    When I was using default BP registration, the result was, in profile view, next to the name of the field there were listed the checkboxes which I selected during registration.

    I would like to do the same by gravity form, but when I'm trying to setup the form feed, on the right hand selectbox I'm unable to find the name of the multi-checkbox field. I only have a list of each individual checkbox, each of one with kinda true or false value - I cannot however find a way doing it same way as in default BP registration form.

    Can you please tell me if I'm missing something? Or maybe this is not supported so far? If it's not do you think you'll be including that in any futher releases? Also, is there an easy way of implementing that using some Gravity function hooks maybe?

    You aren't missing something, we will look at how we can support this. Checkboxes are actually individual fields, not one field like radio buttons and drop downs. We will take a look and see how we can handle this for the BuddyPress integration.

    Yes, i'll discuss it with the developer we have assigned to the User Registration Add-On and we will get it implemented in the final release.

    Actually I just took a look at how this works... you should still be able to do this with how the functionality works right now.

    In the User Registration Add-On the drop down for the list of BuddyPress profile fields lists ALL the fields, including each individual checkbox.

    You should be able to map each individual checkbox to it's corresponding checkbox on your form. See this screenshot: http://grab.by/8U6b

    In that screenshot "Interests" is my BuddyPress Profile field but "Football, Baseball, Soccer" were the options under Interests. So they appear individually... which means you can map them individually.

    Try mapping the individual items in your checkbox field to it's corresponding field on your form and see if that works. It should.
