Using a different Action for Gravity Forms

  1. Can I use Gravity Forms to create the forms in Wordpress but have it send the data via a different Action='' within the form field? I'm using it to process payment data and want to send the data to my payment gateway. I have an SSL set up, but this is my first website featuring online payment. Any help would be much appreciated.

    Thanks!

  2. You can change the action but we don't recommend it. Once you change the action, Gravity Forms won't store the data or perform validation because it can't. So it's pretty useless to use Gravity Forms at that point.

To properly integrate with a 3rd party payment processor you need to write a customization to integrate with the payment processors API.

I'm not sure who your payment provider is but we are getting ready to release an Authorize.Net Add-On to allow users to do this with Authorize.Net and will be releasing a PayPal Pro Add-On after that with more to follow.
