Using Empty Fields in Conditional Logic

  1. Using conditional logic, I'd like to have a field stay on screen if both cell and home phone number fields are left blank. It does not work for me to simply leave my conditional logic fields (where it says "enter a value") blank. Can you please tell me how I can have conditional logic work on a field that is left blank?

    Thanks!

Try adding a space in the conditional logic value.

  3. I tried a space, and tested it out. Unfortunately, unless I've overlooked something, this doesn't work since the user would actually need to put a space in the field for the conditional logic to work.

Use the condition "greater than" and put a space in the field. That should allow you to do what you want without having an absolute value to compare against.

  5. It worked with "lesser than". Thanks very much for the tip!
