Using Gravity Form Code on non Word Press Pages

  1. Can you use Gravity Forms on other non word press pages - appreciate would not link with the user database but interested in whether the HTML could be published on a CMS page in Magento

  2. Non-official answer from a Gravity Forms user: no. Because Gravity Forms is a WordPress plugin, it relies on functionality that is built in to WordPress to work. If you're not running WordPress at all, then I don't believe it will work.

    HOWEVER

You can use it on non-WordPress pages if you have a WordPress installation (to provide necessary functionality). I wrote about doing that here.

    Hi illinoisharley,

Are you able to copy your post? As a guest making a purchasing decision I'm unable to access the support forums where your link points.

I'd be keen to use Gravity forms on both WP and non WP sites

    cheers :-)

  4. I don't know about using it on non-WordPress sites altogether. Gravity Forms *relies* on WordPress. So, without WordPress, I'm not sure if it would work at all. I created a form using different HTML where I had access to a WordPress installation. That's what I posted about. I have since removed that form I think, but without WordPress, I don't think you can do much with Gravity Forms.
