using gravity form in a fancybox - no send confirmation

  1. Hi There,

I've done a search through all the fancybox related posts, but none of the resolutions seemed to help...

I have a form loading in a fancybox, and I'm having a few issues. You can see the form here at the bottom of each blog post: http://www.theotherangle.ca/blog. The form comes up when you click the "send us an e-mail" icon.

These are the issues I'm having:
    - I can't seem to resize the fancybox to be larger so the form fits better
    - IF AJAX IS DISABLED: When submitting the form, box disappears. There is no confirmation. If I hit send and don't fill in all the fields, the box disappears and the e-mail doesn't send. When I click the icon again, I see there's a bunch of red fields, indicating they haven't been filled in
    - IF AJAX IS ENABLED, submitting the form results in 2 rotating progress circles, but no indication that it was sent or if fields were not filled in.
    - the date picker doesn't work
-I have a few fields that use conditional logic to appear when certain fields are selected, but it doesn't work in this fancybox.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Nick

  3. Fancybox issues related to AJAX are related to how Fancybox itself works. We'll be making changes in Gravity Forms v1.6.3.2 which will be released later today that should resolve those issues so that the AJAX will be compatible.

As for your question about resizing the Fancybox window, you'll have to check with the Fancybox developer on that one. We didn't develop it and i'm not familiar with how to customize it.

I am closing this support forum post as you submitted a Priority Support request and we can handle this conversation via Priority Support.
