Using Gravity Forms instead of a membership plugin

  1. I have been using s2Member in the past for a paid subscription website. however it is a beast and i'd like to move away from it. Now that gravity forms supports paypal payments, user registration all tied together with elegant form control - does this now compete with other membership plugins?

Can people chime in with their experiences.

  2. I too am really curious about this. I'm hoping so as It would make the project I just purchased this for even better!

  3. Gravity Forms itself can only handle the user registration and the subscription payment portion for simple membership site usage. You would then have to use another plugin, such as Justin Tadlock's Members plugin to manage access control and what content users can and can't see based on their user role.
