Using merge tags in the question label

  1. Hi there, I was just wondering if the merge tag filter could be modified so that merge tags can also be used in the question label. I use a users 'previous study' field as a merge tag, which I would like to show in the question label: "Your previous study was {merge tag}, is this correct?" Yes/No.

I noticed that merge tags work in the HTML blocks, so I figured there should be something possible by modifying the filters. Any help would be appreciated!

    Thanks,

    Dustin

This currently isn't a feature of Gravity Forms.

  3. I realize that this isn't a feature, but is it possible to modify the filter hook to not only filter the choices / text inside an HTML block but to also include the question labels via type or CSS class? or would this entail hacking the core?

We don't suggest changing core files as they'll be overwritten upon updates. There isn't any support for this currently, and if I had a workaround for you to use, I would give it to you. I will point this out to our development team though to be added to our feature requests.
