Using theme shortcode inside gravity forms

I've used a plugin called WP Photo Album Plus and used the shortcode to insert a small slideshow inside of the gravity form (Placed it inside the description area)

Now I want to use a shortcode from an elegant theme that inserts a slider/imageslideshow

Typical shortcode between brackets but it doesn't show up. instead it displays the actual shortcode. Any help? Thanks

  2. You can use the WP Photo Album Plus shortcode inside the form description of a Gravity Form, but not the one from the Elegant Theme? I don't think I have ever used a shortcode in a form description before, and I just tried now and it did not work for me. Can you show us a page on your site where this is working and not working, when you embed either shortcode? Thank you.

Sorry for the ancient reply. I do not have the page running WP Photo Album Plus up anymore as I've changed to an Elegant theme. wp photo album plus provided a type of shortcode in %%album%% format as I recall. I was able to use it in a field description which integrated a sort of photo album slider. It did work but WPPAP was sort of buggy for me. Anyways will shortcodes every be usable in a form? Would it even be useful in other cases? Thanks

  4. I'm not sure I understand your current question. Can you let us know if you're having an issue right now, or gathering general information?
