    Thanks for such a great product.

    I'm not a develop and don't write code. I do find your product entirely user friendly.

    What I'm trying to do is to use a form that can associate a value with each multiple choice answer, and then calculate the sum of those values to give the visitor a result. On this page, I've assigned a value of 1-5 for each answer. Ideally, I'd like to have an email automatically sent to the visitor, with an overall score that is calculated from the values I've assigned.

    Is this possible, or am I completely mis-understanding what a value is?

    Hello Kevin, the Value field on drop down/radio button/checkbox fields allows you to store a value different from what is presented to the user. So you may show the user something friendly while storing something less friendly as the actual value.

    Currently there is no built in way to calculate scoring with Gravity Forms. It is a feature we plan on adding. The first step in this is the Pricing Calculations that have been added in Gravity Forms v1.5. So we will be adding field calculations for general scoring capabilities in a future release.

    Right now it is possible but it requires custom code to accomplish.
