Hi Pette,
This plugin overrides WordPress' default settings. You'll need to check this option every time you wish to send the password to a new user who has registered by the User Registration add-on.
But the notification is double and the password is not send!!
Hi Pette,
To be clear, there are two kinds of messages that can be sent to the registering user. The WordPress default "New User" email (which includes the password by default) and the Gravity Forms User Notification message, which is activated and created by you on the form's Notification settings page (does not include the password ever).
The important thing to note is that you are unable to send the password to the user from the form's User Notification email. If you are attempting to use this email as the "New User" email in place of the WordPress default "New User" email, you will not be able to send the password.
However, if you deactivate the form's User Notification message and activate the "Send Email?" option, the password will be included in WordPress' default New User email. This email can not currently be customized by the User Registration add-on; however, it is a feature we would like to add in the future. With that said, It is possible to customize this message with other third-party plugins now.
Hope this clears up the confusion. :)
Perfect! At the moment is not possibile to send the password! Thanks!!
You're welcome. Thank you for using Gravity Forms.
