W3C Validator

  1. Hello, i read similar topic from my issue, but i dont understand if I did any wrong thing... i paste a widget at footer of my website with a form: http://www.artepick.com/ and this widget generated any error at:
    http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=www.artepick.com&charset=%28detect+automatically%29&doctype=Inline&group=0
    (XHTML)

    and:

    http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.artepick.com%2F&charset=%28detect+automatically%29&doctype=HTML5&group=0&user-agent=W3C_Validator%2F1.1
    (HTML5)

    Is it a bug from the plugin or a problem with the widget? If I removed the widget and I paste the form in a post or page this W3C disspear? Any idea about I shuold do? Thanks.

  3. The latest beta version of the plugin fixes the input/label id alert that you're seeing. You can download the beta and test with that if you'd like.

    The other error is because the widget stylesheets are being loaded inline - not in the page head. It's not a bug, but simply a limitation of the platform and the way the widget has to load the styles.

    If you're concerned about validation, you can disable the script output in the widget options

    and then manually add the stylesheet references to your theme's header.php in the <head > section of the page.

    <link rel='stylesheet' id='gforms_css-css'  href='http://www.artepick.com/wp-content/plugins/gravityforms/css/forms.css?ver=3.0.2' type='text/css' media='all' />
