Welcome email being sent out twice - start and subscription start

  1. The PayPal plugin is set to create a new user. There is a trial period of one month, then the regular subscription starts. The new user welcome email is sent out when the user signs up. It is also being sent out one month later at the beginning of the regular subscription.

    How do I prevent that and still have a trial period?

  2. The problem is you have configured your notifications to be sent only after payment has been received. With a free trial, payment isn't received until the first subscription payment. So that is the issue. You would have to set your User Notification setting in the PayPal Add-On settings so they are sent right away, not when payment is received.
