When I upload the form, Dashboad goes blank

  1. I've used Gravity forms for quite some time. However, when I upload the new plugin to this site: http://utahcountyreviews.com - it causes my dashboard to go blank in WP.

I've deactivated other plugins and it seems Gravity Forms is the one causing the problem.

I'm using Genesis Framework by Studio Press and have used Gravity forms before on this site.

Please let me know what's wrong. Thanks.

  2. Did you get this fixed? I am experiencing some bugs in a few of my sites and gravity forms seems to be the plugin and I am also using genesis and prose from studiopress. I had one client not be able to access anything after doing an update on WP and I've had some other function errors show up while it's saving something but then they disappear and it seems everything is working but I don't feel good about even seeing these errors...

  3. No, this isn't fixed yet and I have two sites now that it's affecting. However, I use it on a lot of sites and others don't seem to be having a problem at all.

Hopefully one of the developers will chime in on what they recommend soon.

    Thanks for your feedback.

  4. Please post the version of WordPress, Genesis, Child Theme and Gravity Forms.

It sounds like a memory error, which shows up when Gravity Forms is activated because it's a large, complex plugin. Can you enable the display or errors or logging of errors, so you can see what error is causing the blank screen? The blank screen is a symptom of a 500 Internal Server Error, but we need to see WHY.

Also, check the RAM available to PHP and WordPress. You may need to increase it. Here's one discussion.

  5. BTW, I was just working on a Genesis 1.7.1 site with the AgentPress child theme, WordPress 3.3.1 and Gravity 1.6.2 and have no trouble with it there. It will most likely be something specific to your configuration.

  6. Hi, Nate, we received your priority support request for this. I have responded to that request and asked if you had tried Chris' suggestions and requested login information. I am closing this topic.
