Where did Gravity Form's go?

  1. I am new to wordpress and web building so please excuse an elementary speak!

    Site: parlaystaffing.com

I recently built this site and purchased Gravity Forms to help me collect data from users. I went to check on the site this morning and the pages containing forms are blank. After going to the backend (wp-admin) page Gravity Forms called for some updates. Whenever I click for the update it redirects me to gravityforms.com, going to the plugin page I was able to do some updates but I still get notices to update?

These are the notices I have showing on the plugin page after I preformed the update:

"You need to install Gravity Forms to use the Gravity Forms Dropbox Uploader plugin."
"The plugin Gravity Forms + Custom Post Types requires Gravity Forms to be installed.
Please download the latest version of Gravity Forms and try again."

Furthermore I re-downloaded gravity forms and tried to upload it manually as a plug-in but it stated that it was already installed.

As I said, I am a beginner and don't know how to use the FTP side of things at all, I rely on building straight through the wordpress dashboard.

    How do I fix this?

    Any help is greatly appreciated!!

  2. You will need to use FTP to delete any plugin folder called gravityforms which may exist, then you will be able to install Gravity Forms again. I don't know of any other way at this point to reinstall without removing the existing folder with FTP.

  3. I can probably figure this out- for the future, can you say why this happened in the first place?

    Thanks,

  4. I'm not sure what happened in your situation. The does not normally happen, and without knowing everything which happened along the way, I can't say why it occurred. Sometimes the automatic upgrade in WordPress does not work. I can help you fix it if you still need help.
