where does after_submission code go?

    sorry for such a noob question, but I am new to post submission hooks.

    I want to send form data to a third party, and found the documentation on the gform_after_submission. Only thing I don't understand is where that code belongs to it fires on form submission.

    It goes in your functions.php in your theme files.
