Wordpress 3.2 Compatibility with Gravitiy Forms?

  1. Hi Carl,

Are there any anticipated issues with Gravity Forms when WordPress updates to 3.2 soon? I know about the new PHP (5.2.24) and MySql (5.0) requirements. Is the GF code ready?

I'm wondering if it's a good idea to upgrade or just wait it out a little while until any dust settles?

By the way, here is a link to the WordPress 3.2 Requirements Checker at Wordpress.org: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wordpress-requirements-check/

Surprisingly, my site's running PHP 5.2.17 and it cleared as OK? Do you have any idea why it would show as being fine when everyone is clearly saying it requires 5.2.24?

    Thanks again,

    MS/HG

  2. The current release of Gravity Forms works fine with WordPress 3.2 RC1. So barring any additional changes, Gravity Forms is ready for WordPress 3.2. If any additional changes are required, we will release an update. But the current Gravity Forms v1.5.2.3 release works with WordPress 3.2.

As for the version of PHP you are running, i'm not 100% sure. There were some problems with earlier versions of PHP 5. Gravity Forms has always required PHP 5+, it is WordPress 3.2 that is now requiring it also.

  4. @Carl I have just updated wordpress to 3.2 and I am using the latest version of gravity forms. Since I've updated wordpress I can't change the settings of the existing forms anymore. Seems to be a compatibility issue? Or is there anything else I am missing. Cheers.

  5. @Carl Sorry posted this issue to quick. The bug was not related to gravity forms. I was not able to open any menu in the wordpress dashboard. An update of buddypress fixed it.

  6. Good to hear. For anyone else, there are no known issues with Gravity Forms v1.5.2.8 and WordPress 3.2. If you encounter any, please post a new forum thread so we can look into it.
