Would Gravity Forms + MailChimp work for a magazine?

It was suggested to me that using Gravity Forms and MailChimp could allow me to do reoccurring magazine subscription payments and generate address lists for mailing. There are full service magazine subscription services out there, but some are rather expensive. I'm wondering if I could accomplish the tasks of allowing people to subscribe to my magazine on my site, automatically process subscribers' reoccurring monthly fees, and generate a mailing list for the publisher using these two applications?

  2. I believe you would be able to do this. However, you need a way to handle the payments. How were you going to take care of that?

It looks as though there is a tie-in with PayPal. I was thinking that would get the job done.

  4. Yes, if you have a Developer License, you could use the PayPal add-on and it would integrate nicely with MailChimp.

You can use the PayPal add on to handle recurring subscriptions. I think you will be able to do this but it will require a fair amount of work to integrate all the services and ensure that they remain in sync.
