WP 3.2.1 and GF 1.5.3 - Cannot delete forms

  1. I am unable to delete forms - whether via bulk selection, individual at the forms list page or within a form editor at the top.

I have cleared cache in FF, also tested in IE (which I never use in the admin console), and disabled all other plugins. I did have Justin Tadlocks Members plugin active - but all of the gravityforms_ capabilities are turned on for my admin role even when it is enabled and disabled doesn't make a difference.

  2. Very odd. We've never seen this before, we've seen a plugin conflict cause field deletion not to work but never the form deletion.

This is either going to be some sort of strange plugin/theme conflict or possibly a database configuration issue. The first thing you need to do is test for plugin and theme conflicts to rule that out. Follow these instructions:

Let me know how it goes and we can go from there.

  3. I had this problem with themes developed by Peerapong that were purchased at ThemeForest. You have to activate another basic theme. Delete the fields or forms you want to remove. Then re-activate the theme. It's a total pain in the you know where. I have told him about it but he doesn't seem to care. He provides a contact form so he doesn't see the value in correcting this problem. Anyway, hope this helps.

  4. I haven't encountered the issue in other environments and there seems to be quite a bit going 'odd' in the environment where I was running into this issue. I'm going to re-build from a fresh install and see how that goes.
