Yoast WordPress SEO conflict

  1. Hi,
I'm running WP 3.5.1, Gravity Forms 1.7.2, and WordPress SEO by Yoast 1.4.7 on a local MAMP environment. It seems that when i was updating both Yoast and Gravity the problem occurred.

I might possibly have clicked on something when the update was taking place. Yes, I know. But after weeks of doing this site I was quite anxious... Anyway, this may or may not have something to do with it.

The site itself works fine when this conflict occurs, but i can't access the Dashboard the minuite both are activated at the same time. The error i get in Chrome is:

"The website encountered an error while retrieving http://mysite/wp-admin/plugins.php?activate=true&plugin_status=all&paged=1&s=. It may be down for maintenance or configured incorrectly."

I then have to manually remove either of the 2 plugins.

    I've tried:

    Disabling Yoast, Gravity works fine.
    Disabling Gravity, Yoast works fine.

I've reinstalled / downloaded fresh copies of each from the Dashboard. I also removed a 'gravity_forms' temp folder located in, i think, the uploads folder. Still no joy.

I also tried adding define('WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '96M'); to wp-config, as suggested here:
    http://www.gravityhelp.com/forums/topic/gravity-forms-conflict-with-yoast-seo
    but that hasn't worked.

Obviously it's quite important i get these 2 going. I'm sure yoast plays well with gravity, as he endorses it...

    Any help much appreciated!

  2. Would I be more likely to get a response if I uploaded the website?

I haven't had a chance to set-up a test of this as of yet. As soon as I do, I'll hopefully be able to replicate your issue and then we can start to figure out why it is happening. Sorry about the delay.
