Add a LINK to Submit Button to take user to another site...

  1. Hi there,
I would like to use Gravity Forms to load Product onto a page here:
    http://leafandvine.com/blog/leaf-and-vine-wines/

I would like the SUBMIT button to say: "Buy Wine" and then have that button take the user to another site (VinoShipper.com) where they will complete their purchase. (Because of laws governing wine sales, I cannot use the PayPal option here.

so: HOW do I attach a link to the "Buy Wine" button that will take the user to the VinoShipper website?

    thank you!!!

  2. What information should be sent from the form to the VinoShopper website? Or do you just want to send them there on submit?

I think you probably want to look at the form settings, and select Redirect under the Confirmation tab. You can send them to another site upon submit by entering the URL here. If the VinoShopper site can accept a query string with parameters, you can build the query string here to send the data to the next site.

  3. thank you...yes, I simply want to send the user TO the VinoShipper site to purchase the wine; we can't process the purchase on our site; has to occur there....all I want to do is create a link and attach it to the Submit button; I will try your suggestion...thanks so much!

  4. Chris....when you say that "if VinoShipper site can accept a query string with parameters..." do you mean: can Vino Shipper accept the data from my form?? There will BE no data from the form. I am only using Gravity Forms to create my Product listing on my page...that's all. The user will enter their date in to the VINO SHIPPER form. I just want to use Gravity Forms to list my product (I like the user interface; it's easier than using another plugin or trying to format the products within WordPress page editor).

So: I am using Gravity Forms to upload my product for the user to VIEW....when they decide they want to buy, I'd like them to click the "Submit" button (renamed "Buy Wine") and that button will take them to Vino Shipper....

they are not submitting any data.

    will that work?

    thanks!!!

PS: I am using Gravity Forms on the same site, in a different form, to receive submissions for the Wine Club (as a membership form). Love Gravity Forms! :)

  5. You should configure the Confirmation for your form as "Redirect", and enter the URL to the VinoShopper there. That will send the visitor to VinoShopper after submitting your form. You will still have an entry created.
