Add-ons don't recognize registration

  1. Hey GFers,

This week, across all the site's I'm running with GF, my add-ons (MailChimp, PayPal, User Registration and Polls) are asking me to register, though the main plugin both shows my registration key in the main settings, and isn't asking for registration in the plugins list. Any ideas?

    Thanks!
    Adam

Can you send WordPress Admin access details to peralty@rocketgenius.com? It would be helpful to have PHPMyAdmin access and/or FTP access as well so we can track down the source of this issue for you.

  3. Sure, David. Sorry, didn't get a notice you'd responded.

Please let me know you received it.

I receive so many e-mails with login details. Can you send me an e-mail letting me know which domain goes with your specific issue so I can match it up?

  5. Hey David,

Sorry; I never received an email about your reply, either. (Not in spam, either.) I'll send it right now.

  6. Hey David,

Actually, I'm noticing that none of my installations are updating—with all different sets of plugins. I'm stuck at 1.6.12 on a few sites. Pretty sure I'm paid up through October.

  7. My sites hosted on BlueHost:
    1) do not show an update to 1.7.2
    2) ask me to register the PayPal add-on even though the main plugin is registered.

This is true for BlueHost hosted sites on different user/hosting accounts.

My non-BlueHost sites are asking me to update to 1.7.2 as they should.

It appears that there is an issue specific to BlueHost (at least in my case).

Hmm... Two sites on Bluehost were at 1.6.12 and running the mailchimp plugin. One Bluehost site is "stuck" not show updating options and the mailchimp plugin is asking for registration as described by Adam and David S. The other Bluehost site and another site I am using the same combo on a different host are both updating without problems. I am interested in learning why this is going on.

  9. Also on BlueHost, for the record.

There have been a large group of people having issues with Bluehost in this regard, as though they can't see our API servers... I will run this up to management to see what we can do about this on our end.
