After submitting form, user gets "Connection Error".

  1. When customers submit a form using IE or FF, they are getting a "Connection Error" instead of the proper "Thank you" screen. I am getting the proper email alert with the customer's info, but they don't think the form is getting submitted and try multiple times. Help!

  2. Sounds like a problem with your web host. Can you post a URL to your form so we can check it out?

  6. I'm getting a similar error to pipelinesuite. Been using Gravity Forms for a long time and just recently started getting multiple submissions (I got eight submits from one person). Come to find out the form is not doing anything after clicking submit but it's actually submitting the information. Any guidance? I'm here: http://www.jetsongreen.com/contact

  7. @jetsongreen you have a script error that could be the cause, either from a plugin/theme deficiency. It's trying to load an old version of jQuery.

  8. thanks @robharrell. I guess I don't even know where to start to attempt to diagnose and fix that problem. Any thoughts or suggestions?

  10. Rob, I disabled all Plug-ins except for Gravity forms and STILL have the problem. So it does not appear to be a plug-in conflict. I have spent several hours on this problem and am at my wits end and ready to find another form solution unless you have any last ideas.
This form appears to work now in all browsers:

    These two do not:

A week ago, the only form that worked was http://pipelinesuite.com/30-day-free-trial in FF.
Any last ideas for me to try?

  11. @pipelinesuite - does the same thing happen when you use the formbuilder preview and try to submit? Have you tried checking any kind of error logs on your host? This is definitely something isolated to your environment.

  12. I just tested all the forms using the Formbuilder Preview/Submit. They all failed in IE, but the Demo form was good in FF. So that same thing is happening live as in the form builder preview. Does that help you troubleshoot?
