An unexpected error occurred......

  1. Problem:

When I try and install the Gravity Forms Addons (Authorize.net or PayPal), I get the FTP screen in WP, and enter my creds to download the addons, but then I get:

An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with WordPress.org or this server’s configuration. If you continue to have problems, please try the support forums.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you!

    Background:
I have used Gravity Forms for a year or so, for our Little League as a CONTACT form. Since I have expanded it to applications for background checks, etc.

I recently upgraded to a dev license, so that I can also use it to collect sponsorship funds from the community.

Can you manually download the add-ons from the sidebar of this site, and upload them through FTP? Sounds like a potential server misconfiguration, but you should be able to get around it by manually uploading the add-ons to your wp-content/plugins folder.

  3. I will give this a shot. I don't have any problems with any other plugins or addons being installed this way, but I will try and manually do it and report back.
