Auto focus on first field - multi page form

    Hi there,

Was wandering if anyone could point me into the right direction with the following:

I've got a multi step form and would like to have auto focus on the first input field of each page. I'm building it locally (MAMP) so I can't post a URL.

    Help much appreciated.

    Cheers.

  2. I'm not aware of any examples of how to do this on the support forums. You would have to use jQuery to do this. I did a quick Google search and found this example:

A customization like this should work properly with Gravity Forms if you implement it on your site and target the appropriate fields.

I'm not sure how it will work with a multi-page form given it occurs on the same page, it adds some complexity to it because you'd have to know what page the user is on, etc. So i'm not 100% sure how you could do that.

To make a long story short: I can't do it. Tried everything but no luck. I think it would be really cool for everyone that goes with multi page forms to have that feature (if the first field is a text input field). Would you guys have any other ideas?

  6. Hi George7,

Are you using ajax to submit your form? or regular submission?
