Automatically send user an email once post is published.

  1. Just got this plugin and love it! I have one question. How can we send an automatic email to the user once their post is made public? I know that we have already set up an email to be automatically send once their post is "submitted" Now I am wondering is there an option to notify the user once that post is "published"? Any suggestions or ideas would help! Our website is http://www.thehendricksonpost.com

You can click on resend notification, but there is no built-in way to do this automatically on status change of a post because the post status system isn't tied to Gravity Forms in any way.

  3. Thank you David for the reply! Do you know of a plugin or add-on for gravity forms that will do this?

Not off hand. You need to find something that will tie the post status of a post to a Gravity Forms entry and e-mail the e-mail address of a user when a post status is changed. I don't think you are going to find anything that will fit your specific needs. I think you'll have to have it custom created if you want it.
