Basic question; change dropdown/radio items order

Hi,

Is it possible to change the order of items in a dropdown or radio buttons field? Other than copy-pasting the options manually, or exporting to xml and importing that is.
Seems like a pretty basic feature, so might be that I'm overseeing something.

Can you tell me more about what you are trying to accomplish? You can use a hook to sort them and pre-populate the dropdown before it shows.
