I have 3 forms on my site, all of which create & publish posts of custom type. The one with a post image upload field returns a blank version of the form when submitted, no errors, and no entries are recorded.

I've nailed it down to a Mod_security error. HOWEVER, it looks like your upload form is trying to create tmp files in my root directory and I don't want to disable Mod_security for a folder that close to home. How can I change the tmp directory?

/root/tmp/20120312-144726-T15EvjIcByYAAFNLCkgAAAAP-request_body-fqNZGhOkay it might not be just mod_security. The form is submitting forever (literally) for some files, and others just refresh the page. Meanwhile some go through fine.
Can an admin please give me some ideas on this? This is literally the ONE feature that is holding me back from the launching the new version of my site.
I have users experiencing (and complaining) about similar behaviors... (most notably my own father who has been helping me troubleshoot this) I have a north of 10% submission rate so I know the form is working for many but for a few very vocal folks, they are drawing a blank screen and their submission is never making the database. I tried updating to the beta and got the same results. I will add that in the case of my father he is using a relatively slow satellite connection if that provides any clues.
