Campaign monitor

First off, I love this plugin! It's greatly benefited my website.

Q: I am considering purchasing the business license for the purpose of using the campaign monitor. What are the features included in this? Can you set-up html email templates? Can you send out newsletters straight from within the wordpress interface? Can I insert a subscribe form in the sidebar as opposed to a page or post.. Lastly, what are the subscribers' unsubscribe options, is there an unsubscribe link included in every email sent out by the campaign monitor? Thank you for your time,

    Nathan

  2. The Campaign Monitor Add-On is only for automatically adding subscribers to a Campaign Monitor mailing list when a form is submitted. So it allows you to integrate Campaign Monitor into any form you create, not just a mailing list sign up form.

You can't send out newsletters from WordPress. It only adds subscribers to your mailing lists when a form is submitted. You then have to use the Campaign Monitor service to manage your mailing list, send out emails to your mailing list, etc. Subscribers can unsubscribe to the Campaign Monitor mailing list via a link that is included in your Campaign Monitor email campaigns.

    Hey Carl,

Is there a way to create an unsubscribe survey, so that the person clicks the unsubscribe link which takes them to a page on the blog where they can choose their reason for unsubscribing. Similar to this:

    http://www.campaignmonitor.com/blog/post/3243/find-out-reasons-for-unsubscribing-with-a-quick-exit-survey/

So I know you can add people to a campaign monitor list, but is there a way to remove them from the same list using the campaign monitor add on?

    thanks
    Brad

  5. Hello Brad,
Currently all of our email marketing add-ons only support subscribing, so you won't be able to use them for unsubscribing. This might come down the road, but it is not something we currently support.
