Can you tell where notifications are coming from?

  1. Since the switch to have admin notifications turned on as default when a new form is created has created a lot of emails for me since I use gravity forms on every site I make. I usually remember to go in and turn them off but a few times I have forgotten. Is there any way to tell what site the notification is coming from?

    The email usually just reads:
    From: me
Subject: New submission from Contact Us
    Date: August 21, 2012 6:45:27 PM EDT
    To: me

Since Contact Us is a common form name, I just have no idea where its coming from.

Just like with any e-mail, the only way you could tell is to read the full headers of the e-mail. Depending on your e-mail program, this might be easy (Show original in Gmail) or difficult. Even this might not answer it though depending on how the server or site was set-up.

  3. I showed all the details in my mail preferences and was able to sift through and see the domain in the references. Thanks!
