Character limit

  1. Is it possible to limit the size of a form filed by characters? We're using the form to create a directory and don't want entries longer than about 50 words. Thanks.

  2. Currently only the Single Line Text field has the ability to limit the number of character entered. However, Gravity Forms 1.5 will introduce the ability to limit characters and display a character counter in the Paragraph Text and Post Body fields also.

  3. Thanks Carl. I didn't get notified you'd responded. Will have to check my settings. GF 1.5 sounds AWESOME. I can't wait. Need it now!

Regarding that... on a somewhat related subject... I know the new version will have an integrated way to submit to PayPal. Do you know if there'll be a way for someone completing the form to choose if they want to submit the form and send a check OR pay via Pay Pal? That's what I really need.

    Thanks.
