Compatibility Issue with Custom Upload Dir Plugin

  1. I'm having a problem with the way Gravity Forms upload images to WordPress while also using the Custom Upload Dir plugin. The problem is that Gravity Forms does not respect the upload path defined by Custom Upload Dir plugin. Does anyone have a fix for that? Thanks!

  2. I'm not sure about that plugin, however we do have a filter you can use to change the path:

  3. I have tried that filter already Rob, and it doesn't work. What Custom Upload Dir (CUD) plugin does is to create a dynamic path based on the post details, so the final result is somethins like this:

    http://site.com/wp-content/post-type/postname/image.jpg

Even using the filter, GF ignores the dynamic part of the path, and the result is:

    http://site.com/wp-content/image.jpg

Does that helps that clarify the situation I'm dealing with. Any ideas on how to make GF use CUD to create this dynamic path? Thanks.

No, someone would have to create a customization that would allow the settings and path to be passed to our Hook, otherwise there is no way to get the two of them talking and we don't have that plugin's features already built into our own.
