Create page that requires user registration/login to view

I've created Page A that contains an application form. User will fill out application and a profile is created based on certain fields (via User Registration Add-On). Password is auto generated and emailed to user. Page A is viewable to the public.

Page B contains information that I'd like to remain private unless a user is logged in. (I realize I can use the built-in Wordpress 'password protected page' feature here, but I'd like something more elegant. ie: username and password.)

How do I create a login on Page B (username + password) so that, once the user is logged in, they can view the content of that page? And, once logged in, will the user have access to the Wordpress backend? I'd prefer them not to see the Wordpress admin bar at the top of their browser.

I feel like what I'm trying to accomplish is very similar to how this forum registration is setup. I'm required to login to view and, although I have a profile page, I don't see the Wordpress backend.

  2. This isn't a Gravity Forms piece of functionality. You will need to use some sort of membership or content access control plugin.

  4. The User Registration Add-On's purpose is to integrate Gravity Forms with your WordPress site to easily register new users. How they view the content and such needs to be controlled elsewhere.
