Custom Post Field not showing AND Form not publishing the Post

I have created a form and all my custom post fields are showing except one. Also When I or a user posts via the Form the post is not published. It shows that the status is published, the data is there, everything should work. However, it doesnt until I go into the back-end and click the Update button in the post.

  2. Sounds like a plugin or theme conflict. Please check for conflicts by using these instructions http://rkt.gs/testing

Also, can you ensure that the form has the post status of "Published" for the "Post Status" in the form builder?

I did as you suggested, but no luck. There's no conflict between any add-ons and Gravity. I looked over the themes code and everything is exactly the same the field that is not showing up is exactly like the others. I can live without that feature for now, but the posting is vital to my website.

If their is a conflict between my theme and Gravity how can I solve it? I need both working. could you point me in the right direction please.

  4. Have you tried the Twenty Eleven theme to see if the problem occurs there?

    Hello Chris,

The problem is only with one of the 16 custom post fields. All are showing correctly except that one. As to the Posting problem, yes it is still there even when I use the 2012 theme.

Also besides sending the dropdown box to the -9999999px left\ 0px left can I use display: none\ visible? the reason is because if someone fills out the first field then clicks TAB you are sent to the dropdown menu that is off the screen (" http://my-car.co/%D8%A7%D8%B6%D9%81-%D8%A7%D8%B9%D9%84%D8%A7%D9%86/ ")

    user-name: Gravity
    pass : 00000

  6. Please export this form and email the XML file to chris@rocketgenius.com and I will take a look at the configuration. To export the form, go to Forms > Import/Export then the top center menu item "Export Forms". The file will have an XML extension when you have exported it correctly.

  7. Did you guys figure out a solution for this? I'm having a similar issue. All of the taxonomies I input are showing, but none of the custom post fields. They show in the admin, but not on the front-end unless I hit the Update button.

  16. In taking a look at your form, it appears that you do not have a post body field? Please add a post body field (you can make it hidden so the user never fills it out or sees it, since it looks like all the content is provided by custom fields which are displayed by your template.)
