developing on a local machine, using live online with a single license?

    Hi all,

purchased a basic license for about 39$. My question is now if this license is enough if I am going to play around with it on my local machine while the "real" site is online and running?

    Thanks for clearification,
    jens

You can play with it unlicensed on your test install without issue.

    Hi David,

thanks for your fast reply. Do you say, I can install GF on both sites local and public, where the public site is already licensed?

    Thanks, jens

You can install it both on local and public, just put your license key in the public site, and not the local site. The only difference is that the admin notification e-mails on your test install will remind you to put your license key in. The license keys are primarily for support, updates and add-ons.
