Does Uninstall Erase Data?

I resently moved my wordpress installation and database from one hosting account to another. Now, I can't add fields to any of the gravity forms. I was going to uninstall and reinstall the plugin but wanted to make sure that doing so wouldn't erase all the data and forms I've created.

We have an uninstall in Gravity Forms that does remove data, BUT if you just remove the plugin and don't run that uninstall script, then it will retain your data. And depending on how you moved things, I don't know that re-installing the files will fix your issue. We have a plugin on our downloads page called Meta Recovery that might help you.

Can you try to disable backwpup and see if things work more effectively?
