Download of new, single-user installation ZIP file failed.

After purchasing a single-user copy of Gravity Forms this afternoon, I immediately attempted to download the install ZIP file. The download started, but hung almost immediately. I tried a second time with identical results. Since the instructions indicate that the download would no longer work after 5 attempts, I haven't tried a third time. What should I do?

  2. click on the download link at the top of the page and download the latest version of the plugin directly from there.

    Kevin,
You instructed me to "click on the download link at the top of the page and download the latest version of the plugin directly from there. "

I did exactly that, but the same thing happened, The download started, but halted almost immediately, reporting that 23% of gravityforms_1.4.5.zip had been completed, and also indicated "Unknown time remaining--0 bytes (0 bytes/sec).

In doing this, I presumably now consumed 3 of the 5 downloads to which I am entitled. Without assurance that I won't lose access to the software I have already paid for but not received, I don't want to do any further experimentation unless you have some way of extended the download counter until it works properly.

    What next?

  4. The download limit was tied to the original link in your email. You can download/attempt to download all you want from this site, there's no restriction.

I would try downloading with a different browser. I'm pretty sure it's a browser-related issue. If not, you're welcome to email us at customerservice@rocketgenius.com and we'll send you a copy of the plugin via email.

Thanks Kevin. The problem, as you had speculated, was apparently browser-related. I had used Firefox for each of the failed download attempts; when I initiated the download using IE, it worked fine. Thanks again.
