Email - Yes. Entry - No.

  1. I seem to be having the opposite problem of most other people on this forum. I am receiving emails of new completed forms, but they are not being saved into my Gravity entries. I looked around the forum and didn't see a thread that dealt with this scenario. Any ideas of why the email would send but that the entry wouldn't be recorded within WordPress? This particular form is connected to PayPal, so not sure if that would be causing it. Both Gravity form emails and PayPal emails were received confirming that the person had indeed paid. But no entry.

    Thanks.

  2. Considering the email notifications are sent using the entry data this would be highly unusual. The notifications can't be sent if no entry data exists. Are your email notifications blank or do they contain data?

  4. Something on your site is causing a problem then. The notifications get their data from the entry data so the entry had to exist when the notifications were sent. Do you have any custom code in place to delete entries? You have to have something that is deleting the entries... they wouldn't delete on their own and they had to exist otherwise the notifications wouldn't contain any data.

One way to test is to follow the instructions here:

    http://www.gravityhelp.com/documentation/page/Testing_for_a_Theme/Plugin_Conflict

If it's code in your theme or another plugin, testing for conflicts will help determine that and narrow it down.

  5. Ok - I'll give this a try. I just deactivated cForms & Clean-Contact, both of which I used in the past. Maybe those were causing the conflict.
