Is there a way to add some text, to guide a user in submitting the right data into the Post Body like this...

    Step 1:
    Step 2:
    Step3:

I would like it to act like a template or guideline that users could go by when they are entering in text. Hope that makes sense.

  2. If you want to build your Post Body field using the value of multiple fields to guide them through entering the information you could use the Content Template feature of the Post Body field to build the content using the values of multiple fields.

Similar to how you can build your Notification emails or the Confirmation message using the value of form fields, the Content Template lets you create the content of the Post Body using the merge tags for the individual form fields.

What you can do is add a field for Step 1, add a field for Step 2 and add a field for Step 3.

Then in your Post Body field, turn on the Content Template option. In the content template that then appears you can then use the "Insert form field" drop down to insert the merge tags for the fields you created for your steps. This will insert the merge tag for those fields. When the form is submitted, the Content Template will be processed and those merge tags will be replaced with the values of those fields.

You can then hide the Post Body field entirely so the user doesn't even see it. Edit the Post Body field, select the Advanced tab and set the Visibility to Admin Only.

Now the Post Body would be created using the merge tags of the fields you inserted into it's Content Template.
