Entry or posts populate to real estate module

  1. Hello,
I am using a real estate template that includes a built in real estate module where I can add a listing from the back end. I created a form in Gravity forms for users to submit their own listings but when I receive the information, it doesn't fall under the add a listing page. It falls under a regular post page. Any help on this?

  2. Gravity Forms out of the box only creates WordPress Posts.

If your template displays listings and allows you to add listings it is likely using custom post types.

To create a post using a custom post type with Gravity Forms you would have to use a 3rd party add-on and configure it to create a post using the appropriate post type. There is a 3rd party add-on that let's you do this which you can find here:

Please note you will ned to discuss this with whoever developed your theme to find out A) if that theme using custom post types for it's listings and B) what custom post type it's using so you can configure the add-on mentioned above and integrate it with your form.
