Exclamation points showing up in email notifications

  1. Phone number came through as 415-808-4268! and street address came through as ! ;221 Main Street -- the exclamation points and semi-colon were not entered into the form. and idea why they are showing up this way? Using the latest Mozilla to fill out the form on XP.

  2. Responded via email to your request. We would need additional access to look at this.

  4. Yes Mark, please send over login information. To debug something like this we may also need additional access such as FTP and Database access. It's a highly unique issue.

I am having the same issue I think.

The email notification saying a form has been returned shows

shows ( as the link to a file uploaded) as the domain
    http://www.heritageandhistory!%20.com/ etc etc etc

however on the website in the entries area it shows correctly
    http://www.heritageandhistory.com/ etc etc etc

Implying something is going on re paths via email back to the host website.

    Hope this helps

    adam

I also have this issue. I upgraded to 1.3.13 to try to resolve it, but it didn't resolve the issue.
The stuff saves fine, but in the email to the respondent has messed up values, usually inserting "! " at a random place in the first address line, and occasionally in the phone line as well. It's not always after the same character, or even in the same position.

  9. This was a bug that what fixed in the latest release- v1.3.13.1

I believe it was an issue where PHP limited the number of characters allowed on one line. Alex whipped it into shape and you can grab the latest version as always from the downloads page
